Mirai's Pedagogical Creed for Christian School

What the School Is

I believe the school is an institution to help students find God-given gifts to find their place in service to others.

​

I believe that education either prepares or disqualifies people for society and that school is one of the most important social institutions for training qualified people.

​

I believe the school exists as a learning, education, and training institution. The Christian school's activity extends the Christian home's and church's Christian educational ministries.

​

I believe that the school is an educational institution where to transform students by passing on the legacy of Christian truth.

​

I believe that through both the formal curriculum and more informal parts of the educational context, such as peer groups and extracurricular activities, the school provides a safe environment for children during their formative years.

​

I believe that The Christian school has a role to play in the revolutionary task of Christianity. Its purpose is to train young people to be evangelistic workers.

​

Also, I believe that the Christian School provides the knowledge underpinning the church's evangelistic imperative and practical, guided activities in the larger community. That allows students to develop the skills needed to reach out to people with the gospel of Jesus and to fulfill their roles within God's church on earth.

​

Therefore, We believe that the social purpose of the Christian school is both conservative and revolutionary. The combination of those two responsibilities aids the maturing Christian in becoming someone who can be in the world but not of the world.

​

In this sense, I believe that the goal of the school is to prepare the young for both the present and future world.

​

I believe that the social function of school must be accomplished and educated under the redemptive, restorative, and reconciling goals of Christian education.

​

I believe all students in our school will grow under those beliefs and be truly God’s people for the glory of God.
